Smooth Surface, Lightweight & Strong – Each unfinished artboard panel has a birchwood surface with a 1-1/2” cradle made of pine that’s sanded. Each 8×8” panel is ready for priming, gesso, or paint. Add more than one layers of paint or collage elements without worrying about your surface dipping or tearing. The 6.4 mm-thick board even means that you can use wood-burning techniques on the surface. Despite the fact that they’re made of wood, these panels are surprisingly light and easy to transport in and out of the studio.
