Canvas is an extremely heavy-duty plain-woven fabric used for making sails, tents, marquees, backpacks, and other items for which sturdiness is needed. It’s also popularly utilized by artists as a painting surface, in most cases stretched across a wooden frame. It’s also utilized in such fashion objects as handbags and shoes. All the time use a mild soap (Ivory Snow, Dreft or Woolite). Never detergent.Water will have to be cold to lukewarm. Never more than 100 degrees.Air dry best. Never apply heat to fabrics. NO DRYER.
