A “gumdrop” glossy coating may also be applied and cured to a gloss finish in literally seconds. Not only incredibly tough but scratch-resistant and water-clear upon curing and weatherable. UV cure time is shortest at mid-day all through the summer months and can take up to 20 minutes all through winter or if your geographic location is high north (or south) from the equator, such as Canada, Scotland, or Scandinavia. Cure time might also vary with the weather as UV reaching the ground may be reduced all through heavy clouds. UV lights must be calibrated at 385nm (360-400) for Solarez resins.
