Handmade in Italy, Raphael Premium Archival Oil Primed Linen Panels surface is non-absorbant, allowing the color to sit down up at the surface.The depth is created by the refractive qualities of the oil which reinforce the natural tendencies of the pigment. Raphael has just enough tooth to keep the skin receptive to carry initial layers of paint whilst they dry and bond with the oil surface.
