The extra-stiff, DuPont Chinex filaments easily pick up and release lately’s heavy-bodied paints and provide optimal coverage. Before introducing these brushes, we had contractors use them in field tests. They raved concerning the “cleanability” of the Purdy brush, which features solid, round, tapered, 100% DuPont Chinex filaments. Many liked the comfy, flush-ferrule design, a Purdy exclusive. Like natural bristle, Chinex is self-flagging for optimal paint coverage. Yet, the filaments are stiff, so the comb holds its shape when applying lately’s heavy-bodied paints.
