Tips to Avoid Sticky/soft Resin

1.Accurate measuring. Following the correct 1:1 ratio by volume.

2.Mixing resin properly. Mix slowly for a minimum of 3 minutes. Be sure you scrape the sides of your cup for equal mixing.

3.Do not curing in cold temperatures.

4. Do not added too much resin colorant. never add more than 6% of the total combined volume of resin and hardener.

Tips To Prevent Resin Bubbles

1.Warm your resin before casting.the use of a water bath to warm it

2.Mix resin slowly.

3.Let the resin sit for 5-10 minutes before pouring.

4.Make sure the surface you are pouring your resin in or on is also warm.close to the surface of your piece and pour your resin mixture out slowly.

5.Work in thin layers.we recommend pouring in layers, waiting 3-5 hours in between each layer.

Step 1

Added resin colorant.Never add more than 6% of the total volume of the mixed resin.

Mix slowly until absolutely no swirls are seen, scrape sides and bottom thoroughly. (Time: at least 3 minutes)

Step 5

Slowly pour mixed resin down the side of the resin mold silicone to avoid introducing additional bubbles.

Step 6

Allow to cure for 24 hours(heat and mass will dictate the amount of cure time required – the bigger the mass the faster it is going to cure.
