Flat paint brushes are perfect for painting large flat surfaces and can be utilized with both acrylic and water based paints and stains or oil-based paints and stains. To handle the brush’s high level of performance, clean in an instant after use and don’t soak in water or solvents as this may damage the filament and bristles and cause the ferrule to rust. Use soap and water to clean latex/water based paints, and mineral spirits to clean oil-based paints. Steer clear of letting paint dry on the edge of the ferrule/ center of the brush.
