Once completely dry, you'll reinsert the pages into the diary. Each page will stay secure by the glassine interleaving sheets that keep your color charts from sticking together. The entire sheets measure 9×12″ from the spiral binding, with tons of room for notes and descriptions. The top of each color chart has a line for writing the paint brand, date, your name, or an assignment title if it’s for a class. The diary page layout gives five rows of 8 rectangles, separated by two lines for notes and labeling. Each rectangle swatch box measures 1″ x 1.5″ and has a bold black horizontal line halfway from the top. This deliberate line is there to show transparency or separate half-tones for each color.
