These plein air carton panels are harking back to those used by Toulouse-Lautrec and Edouard Vuillard, but a complete lot more archival. They have got a pleasing texture and color, are water-resistant (won’t buckle) and are super lightweight. Can be used as is, or primed with acrylic gesso, acrylic gel medium or PVA. Suitable for oils, alkyds, acrylics, casein, gouache and pastels. Mounting to a rigid give a boost to before framing is advised. 0.20-inch thick (approximately 1/32-inch). 10 sheets per pack.
