Grumbacher Gesso prepares a variety of porous substrates, such as canvas, wood, cardboard, plaster, and concrete, for painting with oil or acrylic colors. Now not appropriate for egg tempera or gilding. Stir well and apply with brush to a clean surface. Could also be thinned with water. Sand between coats if desired to keep away from wicking. Could also be tinted with acrylic colors. Don’t mix with or apply over turpentine or oils. To be had in 16oz. and 32 oz. jars. Made in USA.
