Furniture Clear and Tinted Waxes

Our 5 color waxes: natural clear, black, brown, grey and white. To be had in 4 and 8 oz sizes. Colorantic also offers bundles of 5 waxes set.

Remember the fact that it’s all the time best to:

  1. Apply the clear natural wax BEFORE any dark wax
  2. Get two different round wax brushes, one for the light tones, the other for the dark shades (write light and dark on the wood handles with a permanent style pen)
  3. Remove the excess wax with a clean white cloth. – Remember the fact that wax can take up to 7 days to dry! Be patient and you’re going to get great results! Waxed furniture feel very soft!
  4. Wash the brushes to take away waxes with our Mango pumice soap
  5. You don’t like the result, get our TSP-E cleaner and remover and remove it in 5 min 6. After cleaning the brushes, wrap them in a sticky plastic to keep the bristles straight

The tinted waxes enable you to give your furniture new life by giving them a unique look! You’ll be able to have, for example, a White Washed effect or Shabby Chic look with the White Snow wax, an old rustic effect with the Antique brown wax and a grey washed barn style effect with the Grey Storm wax.

5 DIFFERENT SHADES – We have 5 different wax colors: clear natural, gray/grey, brown, black and white. All colours are mixable and can create plenty of shades.
100% NATURAL – Made by chemists. Approved by painters. It’s best to prep your surface if it’s shinny. Use a TSP or the Colorantic cleaner and varnish remover. Let it acts 30 min, then rinse with a damp cloth. You’ll be able to use our small two-grains sanding blocks to take away the excess of the old-varnish. Then you are prepared to apply our Colorantic’s paints. Apply two coats, then let it dry 2 to 3 hours. Then You’ll be able to use our Colorantic waxes with one of our round wax paint brushes for maximum results.
