We manufacture more than 135 different clays, so you’re sure to find the performance you wish to have. From lowfire to highfire, from casting slips to oven-bake, we have an unbeatable selection. We even have a clay body based on the makeup of Mars!

Our most popular clays are our LF06 and Redart Terracotta (lowfire), and our Sea Mix 5, Vashon White, and Klamath Yellow (mid range).

Since 1975, our clay has been made in small batches in our warehouse in Seattle, WA.We use the best (and safest to be had) ingredients to make the highest quality clays that we will, source locally when conceivable, and even develop safer clay options when conceivable. We think it’s boring to rest on our laurels. Which is why we’re all the time working on new clay bodies to bring new qualities, colors, and textures to our customers. From our latest Martianware (built to mimic as closely as conceivable the makeup of the surface of Mars) to clay bodies inspired considerably closer to home, we’re all the time working to delight our community with the next big thing!
