R&F Encaustic Soy Wax 5-pounds is a wonderful alternative to paraffin for cleaning brushes. Soy beans are a non-toxic renewable resource which might be naturally biodegradable. Soy wax is easier to take away than paraffin wax, so after the color is wiped clean out of the brush, the brush may also be washed with soap and water and is reusable in other mediums.
