A solvent-based enamel paint with a Gloss finish Usage A solvent-based, fast dry paint developed to be used on plastic model kits but which can be used on other substrates. Matt, Satin, Gloss, Metallic, Metalcote and Clear finishes are to be had. Substrate A variety of surfaces including most plastics, wood, glass, ceramics, metal, cardboard, sealed plaster, sealed hardboard and more (at all times check on a small test area to test suitability). Application Brush straight from the tin or Airbrush with a suitable thinner such as Humbrol Enamel Thinners. Two thin coats are preferable to one thick coat. The standard thinning ratio is 2 parts paint to one part thinner. Note that Metalcote colours are designed to be polished when fully dry. Drying Time Matt & Satin: 20-40 minutes touch dry and upto 24 hours for hard dry. Drying times will vary in line with ambient temperature and humidity. Recoat: 6 hours minimum (preferably over night). Coverage A 14ml tinlet covers approx 0.3m2 depending on thickness of application. The way to Clean Brushes: Use Enamel Thinners. Airbrush: flush through the use of Humbrol Enamel Thinners. Product is permanent once dry.
